Riding on the crest of popularity in the past three years, the fourth manroland Greater China’s scholarship for printing professionals came to a successful close. manroland has further relaxed the prerequisites to qualify students in printing-related subjects for the scholarship. As a result, the program enjoyed overwhelming response with a 20% increase in applicants.

       The competition was intense with applicants presenting their best. Following the professional assessment of the manroland’s evaluation committee, He Huanqing of Wuhan University, Zhang Li of Nanjing Forestry University, Xu Yueying of Shanghai Publishing and Printing College, and Zhengzhou College of Animal Husbandry Engineering respectively, won the top prize of manroland’s creative printing technology award, manroland’s printing science and technology talent award, manroland’s printing technology talent award, and the best organisation award.        To further push the development of printing and technology in China, as well as the cultivation of printing professional talents, winners of the awards will stand a chance to participate in the “manroland Trainee Program”, after a series of selection procedures. The program encompasses rotational responsibilities in various departments to personally get involved in the workflow, and to experience manroland’s various advanced technologies and professional skills.

       In order to allow applicants to have more time for preparation, the fifth scholarship program will commence early. Interested parties can obtain the detailed information from the manroland’s website this October.
